It's so very easy to feel pessimistic and hopeless about the climate crisis. But we’ve got a few vital big things on our side, amongst them, our intelligence and wisdom, our children and grandchildren, the youth, activists and volunteers, civil societies, students, and committed teachers, parents and grandparents who are all demanding action to save the planet.

The GCGI has consistently acted as a platform and a voice to challenge the economic and political systems pushing Mothers Nature and Earth towards disaster.

One thing that I know for sure is that the GCGI Family and Friends will not allow the threat to the living planet to fade from public life. We will not despair, we will walk on with the hope and determination that sooner or later we will succeed and we will build a better future.

To celebrate our optimism, hope and resilience to keep the fight alive to save our world, it is my pleasure to highlight once again, a selection of related postings from our GCGI archive.

‘When we fiddle with nature, there can be unforeseen consequences. When we fiddle with nature in big ways, entire civilizations collapse.’-George Perkins Marsh

“Be like the sun for grace and mercy.

Be like the night to cover others’ faults.

Be like running water for generosity.

Be like death for rage and anger.

Be like the Earth for modesty.

Appear as you are.

Be as you appear.”-Rumi

GCGI is our journey of hope and the sweet fruit of a labour of love. It is free to access, and it is ad-free too. We spend hundreds of hours, volunteering our labour and time, spreading the word about what is good and what matters most. If you think that's a worthy mission, as we do—one with powerful leverage to make the world a better place—then, please consider offering your moral and spiritual support by joining our circle of friends, spreading the word about the GCGI and forwarding the website to all those who may be interested.
